I’ve been so busy lately, it’s hard to find time to sit down for a coffee, let alone write a blog post! But here I am, and some exciting stuff has been going down lately, so this post is about nothing in particular but also everything at once.

First order of business, Norway. What a place! My brother took me to Norway as a congratulations trip for finishing University, and it was quality. We headed north from Oslo and camped just south of Jotunheimen National Park for 3 nights, hiking and fishing by day. It was incredible, and I’d recommend it to anyone. We then hit up Oslo, but I have to say, if I were to go back I’d skip the city and head straight for the wilderness. A few pictures for you:

Lake Gjende.

Stunning Brownie from the Øystre Slidreåene, the river which served as camp for three nights.

How would you like to wake up to this view?

Next piece of news, my family has just moved house to Dartmoor National Park. The house is carnage, there’s stuff everywhere but I’m slowly relocating camera and fishing gear. I’ll be out and about in the next few weeks exploring my new stomping ground. There is so much water here, I think I’ll be ok…

I'm only interested in the blue lines...

Short and sweet I know, but just keep you in the loop as to what’s going on here at University Angler HQ. Stay tuned for some cool stuff going down as I explore my new surroundings..!
